It’s not enough to win fights now; we need to build power long term. The progressive movement needs data and technology to level the playing field with big money corporations and the Republican party. River Consulting has worked with the Movement Cooperative, who through collective bargaining provide data and technology to 70+ progressive organizations, since it’s very beginning; we consulted with the founding CEO and helped to incubate the nascent cooperative at Indivisible. River Consulting has been TMC’s Board project manager and facilitator since day one; we designed and facilitated the first Board Member elections, help set priorities, amend bylaws and governance document.

River Consulting also acts in an ongoing high level project management capacity. Everything from ongoing member organization recruitment, to organizational strategic planning process, to managing TMC’s Research Team. In 2020 and 2022, River Consulting managed TMC’s Vote By Mail work. TMC built a coalition of America Votes and State Voices and all of their affiliates, Priorities USA and TMC’s 70 member organizations to offer for free a shared instance of the best the top vote by mail tools available and reach 350,000 voters in swing states.
