Hi, I’m isaac

I grew up on comic books and fighting bullies; it’s in my DNA to do hard shit that matters with interesting people. I want to build a just system that works for people and the natural world. I want to hold dirty corporations and politicians accountable, to tear down the white supremacist, misogynist capitalist systems that hold people down.

I work with organizations to run campaigns, and design process and structure for management, everything from decision making, to campaigning, to data architecture, to internal communication. I was the National Organizing Director at Everytown for Gun Safety/Moms Demand Action, where I built the blueprint to scale from 75 local groups to more than 500 nationwide. I was also Indivisible’s first National Organizing Director, scaling Indivisible’s organizing network of more than 6000 local groups in all fifty states during the first year of Trump’s administration.

In my career over the last 20 years, I have planned and run campaigns across a range of issues at the state and national level, everything from the successful fights to protect the Affordable Care Act, to passing state level laws like Background Checks and Renewable Energy Standards, to defeating bills like Stand Your Ground in 48 states.

I live with my family in Washington DC where I mostly navigate the demands of two small people and our dog with my wife. I run long distance, cook, read, box and play RPG’s around the edges.

DISTRIBUTED ORGANIZING IS GIVING POWER TO PEOPLE,
AND MAKING MORE IMPACT FOR ALL. MORE ON THAT…
